Wool Fashion in Whidbey Lavender Fields

"Surround yourself with violet, it will make you more empathetic." Said the 1960's manual on the Airbnb shelf, in regard to my birthdate. So the new saying in the house, when mama doesn't give a shit..."I need some purple."

So how do you feel about color? The colors you wear, you decorate with, you eat? I kinda giggled at that book, but theres definitely something to it all.  And oddly enough, we ended up at a lavender farm the very next day!  

So close to the wool mills of Pendleton, the Pacific Northwest is a woolen wonderland.  Optimal for the wet or cold seasons, wool is timeless.
